Tomorrow, I shall wear green.
Red is what these women want you to wear in support of their protest.
Green is on the far opposite of the color wheel from Red.
I shall wear green because:
I do not support this foolishness.
I do not support this perversion of The First Amendment.
I do not support Hypocrisy and Double Standards.
I do not support humiliation of half the population on the basis of genetics.
I do not support the notion of superiority of half the population on the basis of genetics, either.
I do not support the use of harsh language to label, and silence, opposition.
I do not support the continual marching for rights already obtained.
I do not support badly spun statistics which are used to lie.
I do not support perpetuated lies, even after they have been proven wrong.
I do not support rewarding a person for their own bad choices.
Tomorrow, I shall wear green:
To distinguish myself from the rabble roused by inflammatory language,
To show that the Sisters of the Womb do not have the final say on gender and society,
To obviously demonstrate that one can disagree without being rude.
To mark myself as different from the crimson-clad crowd,
Yes, tomorrow I shall wear green.
The same group that organized the "women's march" on January 21st, 2017 have decided to declare a single day strike on March 8th, 2017. They are calling this "A Day Without A Woman". They encourage women to avoid going into work, and for those who don't work outside of the home to not do any housework. They also are encouraging women to not spend money unless it's at female or minority owned local shops. Part of showing support for this day is for everyone to wear red.
As you can see above, not only do I refuse to participate, but I choose to actively do the opposite.
